This next on is a Marvelous Antique Engraving! Shown above is a cute black and white Illustration of a Squirrel walking on a Tree branch. I just love the Fall colors on this one! Here we see our little cutie sanding on a rock with brightly colored leaves falling around him. Here is the latest addition to this collection. Isn’t this adorable?! This is a lovely little antique print of a sweet Squirrel on a branch! He looks as though he’s having a conversation with the little Red and Black Bird. That’s the first time that I’ve had to do that! I was so glad that they were able to salvage it, there are some wonderful images in that book! Squirrel Pictures They picked it up from my house and cleaned it in their offices and brought it back. Around here we call this book “the Moldy Book”, as it was so full of mold when it arrived that some of the pages were completely black! I actually sent it out to a mold remediation company. This is a new book that I’ve just recently added to my collection. This cute guy comes from a Circa 1885 German Natural History Book. This is an adorable Cute Vintage Critter Image! This offering was scanned from a rare and early, Circa 1790’s, German Natural History Print in my collection, that had several Squirrels and Chipmunks on it! I think this one looks like a Squirrel, although his tail is awfully thin. It appears we’ve caught him in mid flight! He’s a lovely engraving that was hand colored many years ago. Isn’t he darling?!! I just love his little pink nose and his cute furry tail. According to the print he is an American Flying Squirrel. The next Vintage Fall Image is an adorable Flying fellow!! This little guy was scanned from an Antique French Natural History Print. Above is a wonderful Natural History print of our furry friend holding an acorn. One year in the Fall, I had this one displayed in my home as a part of my Autumn Seasonal Decor. I’ve actually had this one on my site for many years, but I have updated with a new link as the old stopped working quite a long time ago. The squirrel’s diet can range from berries to meat depending on what it needs at the time. Squirrels eat nuts, seeds, fungi, insects, eggs and small mammals.
